Reduction of Stress by Mindfulness 2022 - 2023
You suffer from headaches, sleeping problems, anxiety, chronic pain, low spirits, problems with your work, and other difficulties, or you are just curious, the M.B.S.R. is for you.
This program was created in 1979 by Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD in molecular biology, and eminent professor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts medical school, USA.
Qualified Instructor : Jane Lovell, psychologist, ‘psychopraticien relationnel’, has been practicing Mindfulness, and Meditation (an important tool for developing Mindfulness) for a number of years. She was trained by the Oasis Institute at UMass Medical School USA. She has participated in retreats, and one in particular with Jon Kabat-Zinn in 2011.
The benefits of the MBSR : Reduction of stress personal, relational and professional, and an improvement in the quality of one’s life and wellbeing. The development of new skills for calming your mind, improving your concentration and learning to accept yourself as you are. Scientific research has demonstrated the positive effects of Mindfulness.
Content : Theoretical contributions, training, guided non clerical meditation practices, some simple body exercises, explications, and time for discussion. The program consists of 8 sessions of 2 ½ hours + a day of 7 hours.
